Art update

We all painted today.  James did the statue of liberty in a rainstorm.  Luca painted the Capitol.  I did Stewart park in the winter.  Jer did a portrait of a pig.  I'm also posting a couple recent sketches.  I have been practicing.

firsts

Luca's first cub scout activity was the rain gutter regatta.  It was a fun time and our boat performed respectably.

creative muscle

I am not an artist, but I have heard that the mind is a muscle and I should exercise it.  Since I'm a complete slacker at exercising my regular muscles, I think I might try to strengthen my creative "muscle" by doing a quick sketch a day.  Here are my first two...I'm hoping I will get better with practice, and maybe if I post again in a month or so there will be a noticeable improvement in my skill.
