Ladew Gardens (kid photographers)

On our Friday off of school, we started with a fun sock matching competition.  I had a huge bag of orphan socks, and assumed many of the mates were in their drawers or under their beds.  At a rate of $1 a sock, my kids went to work.  I'm not kidding when I say that they matched up 50 pairs of socks!  Yes, it was that bad.

Then we visited Ladew Gardens, a topiary garden near home.  The kids really enjoyed discovering all sorts of lovely places within the garden.  They also wanted to work on their photography skills, so I turned it over to them.  Ugh, lots of close ups of me looking annoyed.

James is always willing to be a subject.  Maybe because he knows he's gorgeous:)
